Generally, we'll create the home page for you. It can include all the elements that you require. If you are running an online shop, it can also pull out of the database a selection of products that randomly rotate, keeping your site visitors interested in your home page that 'appears' to be updated every time they visit it, whilst giving all your products a turn at appearing on your sites front page.

The database is cleared every 24 hours in the demo version. There may no products therefore at the moment. Why not login in to the admin and give it a go.

1) login to the admin http://www.cympal.co.uk/MANAGE username = admin, password = password.

2) Go to Online Store Management and In the following order create a Category, a Manufacturer, a Product Type and then input a product.

It really is that simple. When inputting a product give the product a weight. This will allow the cart (when activated) to calculcate a shipping cost based on the total weight of the order.

To create weight band charges, click the shipping weights link and click the add new button. In the boxes provided type in; the starting weight eg 0 the maximum weight 1000 and charge to be applied for this weight band, then click the insert button, then include a second making sure your start weight starts where your previous one stopped eg 1001.

You can also include 'Zone' shipping charges. This is very simple too. Click the Shipping Zones link, click the add new button, choose a zone and then type in the box the charge you wish the cart to apply for delivering to that zone, click the insert button.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use symbols (eg £, kg etc) when including prices, weights any where in the admin, the system takes care of these automatically from the software settings. Weights should be set in grams giving the greatest flexibility in weight charges.
